These are solid at room temperature like a bar of soap, but when rubbed on the skin, a tiny amount melts and is transferred to the skin, leaving a highly moisturizing and very thin layer. This lotion bar is made with 100% pure unrefined organic African Shea Butter, unrefined Cocoa Butter, 100% pure Cody Beeswax, Babassu Oil, Avocado Oil (infused with calendula, chamomile & lavender), local Desert Wildflower Honey, 100% pure Lavender, Frankincense & Orange Essential Oils, Honeycomb Fragrance and natural Vitamin E Oil.

Shea Butter Benefits - Moisturizing: The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for the skin. Also Reduces Inflammation.

Pure Natural Beeswax is one of the best natural remedies you can use for your skin. Natural beeswax is formed almost entirely of fatty acids and chain alcohols and includes large amounts of oleate esters, hydroxypalmitate, palmitate, and palmitoleate. These ingredients blend to produce properties that make beeswax key for maintaining skin texture and health. The ability to keep moisture in the skin and the high vitamin A content stimulate the production of skin cells while keeping the skin insulated from environmental dangers. Beeswax also brings to the skin the necessary antioxidants for a healthy complexion. Natural Cody Beeswax has an amazing, natural scent. It's my favorite to work with.

Babassu Oil and/or Coconut Oil - If you suffer from psoriasis, eczema, rosacea or even acne, using moderate amounts of babassu oil is an excellent idea. Unlike coconut oil, babassu oil absorbs into the skin much more rapidly, and leaves behind less of an oily residue, helping to treat these [6] skin conditions faster, without making them any worse! Coconut oil may be linked to some potential benefits for skin, including reducing inflammation, keeping skin moisturized and helping heal wounds. The medium-chain fatty acids found in coconut oil also possess antimicrobial properties that can help treat acne and protect the skin from harmful bacteria


Cocoa Butter - Research has also shown cocoa butter to reduce the appearance of scars on the skin and help to boost overall skin health.

Avocado Oil - (Triple Infusion) Avocado oil contains a high percentage of Vitamin E, as well as potassium, lecithin, and many other nutrients that can nourish and moisturize your skin. The oleic acid also promotes collagen production, which helps grow new skin. This accelerates the healing process, helping with issues like sunburn. We infused the avocado oil with Calendula. Calendula is packed with anti-aging antioxidants and hydrating squalene, making it superb for hair, skin, and nails. Calendula works wonders on dry, cracked or sensitive skin as well as eczema and psoriasis. It may help to reduce the swelling and the desire to scratch eczema areas. Also infused in the avocado oil are Chamomile flowers and Lavender buds. Chamomile has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Lavender not only boosts potent anti-inflammatory properties but is also ultra-soothing for skin with a therapeutic scent. Lavender also moisturizes skin, but is also antibacterial and can kill bacteria that penetrate your pores. That makes lavender oil perfect for preventing and also healing acne.

Honey is naturally antibacterial, full of antioxidants and it is great for slowing down aging. It's extremely moisturizing and soothing too! My honey is local - Desert Wildflower Honey!

Lavender: Lavender oil's anti-inflammatory properties make it great for soothing and healing skin that's irritated or reddened from the sun, insect bites, or bacteria.

Frankincense: Frankincense is made from the resin of the Boswellia Tree. Researchers believe that frankincense can prevent the release of leukotrienes, which are compounds that can cause inflammation. Terpenes and boswellic acids appear to be the strongest anti-inflammatory compounds in frankincense. Frankincense is an anti-aging and an excellent wrinkle fighter. Frankincense essential oil is a powerful astringent, meaning it helps protect skin cells. It can be used to help reduce acne blemishes, the appearance of large pores, prevent wrinkles, and it even helps lift and tighten skin to naturally slow signs of aging.

Vitamin E Oil can block free radicals and replenish lipids, which helps slow down the skin's aging process. The ingredient may also help reduce wrinkles and fine lines and keep skin looking youthful.

Honeycomb Fragrance - This fragrance oil is like a springtime garden in bloom. This classic floral fragrance opens with notes of Rose petals, Geranium and velvety violets surrounded by sweet honey nectar and orchard fruits.

Lavender Essential Oil - Flores, fresh, sweet, herbaceous and sometimes slightly fruity.

I added a touch of Frankincense Essential Oil - A base note with a medium aroma, Boswellia serrate has a warm and spicy, woody odor that is haunting, but milder than Frankincense from Somalia.

Also added was sweet orange essential oils.

DIRECTIONS & CAUTION:
=========================
Warm the bar between your palms, then rub onto any dry, cracked surface to include hands, elbows, knees and heels. This product works well for those suffering from eczema, as well. For best results, apply at bedtime and allow to dry. For extreme conditions, apply liberally on hands and feet and place gloves or socks on overnight. Once your skin has improved, simply apply once a week to keep your skin protected. If skin is irritated, discontinue use.

All my products are handmade by me in very small batches, in a pet-free area, in Payson, AZ. This solid lotion bar is made from scratch in small batches. Gloves are always on and containers are always prepared with 70% alcohol before use.
